NOW ALSO WORKING IN LONDON
That behaviour may no longer be appropriate to the person
you are today, and may be why you are on this webpage.
No one can change what has happened in the past, but I can work with you to help you evaluate the way you deal with the past and regain control over your future.
Post traumatic stress disorder is a psychological and emotional reaction to any traumatic event...abuse, rape, the loss of a loved one – any number of things. The techniques I can teach you through cognitive hypnotherapy can help enable you to regain control of your life and move forward.
PTSD is such a personal, private and emotional thing that I would be doing anyone suffering with it a huge injustice to say any more on a web page.

My wife was involved in the London underground bombing – she was at Kings Cross and was witness to the carnage.
She has being having nightmares ever since and will not go near the underground or use a tube. We had been going to CBT counciling to try and help her through this and although there was some improvement, two years on things were not much better.
It was suggested we try a cognitive hypnotherapist because they work with Modalities (how you remember things and the details). We were introduced to Ali by a friend of a friend. Her empathy yet directness helped my wife really talk about things and they worked together to reframe the event and the emotions it caused. The aim was not to forget what happened but to find ways to control the emotion of the memories and add context to the fear and anxiety it left my wife with.
They had four sessions together and Ali is always at the end of the phone. My wife is doing much better now.
